Dyson have reinvented the vacuum cleaner, the hand dryer and other household products. But Dyson is now turning it’s attention to the clothes line. They have now invented the Air-Line, it is designed to use up no power and dry your clothes without being on a line for hours with the risk of getting wet if it rains. Looking at the picture you can see that the Air-Line is designed for people who line in towers/flats where there is no space for drying clothes on a washing line.

“The Airline was designed around the ideals of the emerging need for power efficient products. It is entirely self powered, requiring absolutely no external power sources, only using the environment around it. Furthermore this product is efficient, enhancing the most optimal conditions for drying clothing, without the use of excessive heat that can damage clothing.

A solar panel collects and powers the ventilation fans located at the base of the main unit. It does seem very interesting and obviously in this day and age it has to be green. the real question is that if it does ever get made, will the people living in towers/flats be able to afford it?
